This cosy pastel-coloured riad is one of the oldest in the medina, in Marrakech. In fact, Riad Marélia has been fully restored in traditional Moroccan style, bejmat floors, sculpted plaster, tadelakt, cedarwood, and even moucharabieh decorate this traditional home.
Each of the seven rooms are uniquely decorated and include a heating/cooling unit, and ensuite bathroom, in tadelakt. For the hot Marrakesh days, seek some shade under the lemon trees on the patio and cool off in the plunge pool filled with filtered water under the two imposing pillars supporting a carved beam. The arcades and moucharabieh add to the mysterious Moroccan atmosphere.
A 12-metre summer lounge is a peaceful place to relax and can host artistic performances. Across from this space is the winter lounge, complete with a fireplace.
Plus, Riad Marélia has four shaded and ventilated terraces provide a panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains and the Koutoubia Mosque.
Possibility to have a tird bed.
